THE ART OF Not knowing

Step into the unknown with The Art of Not Knowing, an immersive art experience that ignites creativity and curiosity. Inspired by the book Not Knowing: the art of turning uncertainty into opportunity, this journey guides you through an art gallery, challenging you to see familiar works through fresh eyes.

At the heart of this adventure lies "negative capability," a concept from poet John Keats that embraces uncertainty as a source of power. In our information-saturated, ever-changing world, this ability to thrive amidst ambiguity is invaluable. It's not just about tolerating the unknown – it's about transforming it into a springboard for innovation and personal growth.

Through thought-provoking exercises and guided exploration, you'll develop a mindset that turns uncertainty into opportunity. Emerge with enhanced resilience, sharpened creative thinking, and a toolkit for navigating life's complexities. The Art of Not Knowing isn't just an art experience – it's a gateway to seeing your world, and yourself, in a whole new light.

studio/lab: interdisciplinary ENQUIRY

The Studio/Lab is a space for exploration at the meeting point of art, science, and lived experience. It is designed as a place to think, test, and experiment, without the pressure to arrive at immediate solutions.

In these sessions, I invite participants to move between different ways of knowing: analytical and intuitive, structured and emergent. Rather than treating art and science as separate domains, we explore what becomes possible when their logics are allowed to inform one another.

The work emphasises process over outcome. Participants are encouraged to experiment, notice patterns, and learn from moments of uncertainty or apparent failure. These moments are approached not as problems to eliminate, but as signals that something new may be trying to emerge.

The Studio/Lab supports the development of adaptability, discernment, and reflective capacity, qualities that are increasingly important when working with complexity, ambiguity, and change.
