Terra Incognita
These digital collages are part of an ongoing series exploring fragmentation, multiplicity, and the unknown. Each work is composed from photographs taken on an iPhone. The same subject captured from multiple angles, then layered and reconstructed. The source images are ordinary surfaces: lichen colonising stone, moss overtaking bark, the weave of old tapestry, the reflection of the sky in an ancient well. Seen up close and repeated, they become unfamiliar.
Each collage is built from photographs of a single subject, fractured and recomposed. A familiar place made foreign. Terra incognita at close range.
